I had surgery a little over a week ago. To sum it up, it sucked. Hard. I'll skip over the procedure though since it makes me a bit green and skip to my results. Benign Lipoma. THANK YOU GOD! Absolutely the best news and I can finally let out a deep sigh of relief. Recovering has been more than I expected. I guess you don't really realize just how much you depend on your mobility until it's impaired. Thanks to a bottle full of Norco, an ice pack, and my loving family and friends I'm slowly feeling a bit better every day. I still have a hideously swollen (read chubbalicious), bruised arm pit. Oh well, it'll heal. Lesson learned though, self breast exams are life saving! Go in for your annual check ups and if you discover something on your own, go see your doctor ASAP. Better safe than sorry!
