Faith renewed

I have always believed in God. If truth be told, I was probably born on a pew in church. I have devout Christian parents, was raised in a Christian family, went to a private Christian school from Kindergarten through my Senior year. Yes, I have always believed in God. That said, there have definitely been times in my life when I've questioned God. So many things in this life just do not make sense. So many senseless things happen every day. So many injustices. Still, I have believed.

I must admit that my belief has had various degrees. Although my faith has always remained, there have definitely been certain times where it was stronger than others. It seems like when things are good most people forget to thank God, yet we always call for Him when we need help. We're a thankless bunch, aren't we? To be human is to err I suppose.

The events of the past 2 weeks have opened my eyes to God's goodness. You know when you're watching a movie and all of a sudden a plot enfolds? I feel like I've been having that experience the last few weeks. This may be somewhat circular and ramblish (is that even a word?), but hopefully it'll make sense by the end of my ramble.

5 years ago I was a first time mom to my beautiful Isabelle. I joined an online Mom's group, and there is where I found out about Allie Scott. Allie was a gorgeous little baby girl who was a few months older than my Belle. Allie seemed to have the flu, which was later diagnosed as AML, Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Jenny, Allie's mom, kept a blog that detailed Allie's fight. My heart broke for Jenny and Andrew when Allie lost her battle and became an angel. I couldn't imagine ever losing a child. I've continued to keep up with the Scott's through Jenny's new blog and the charity she cofounded. Watching their journey left a mark on my heart.

Fast forward to the present. We have two beautiful children now. Being a Mommy has given me the strongest love and bond I will ever have. These little burritos are my heart and soul. I'm completely head over heels in love with them.

About 2 1/2 months ago a friend and coworker of mine was diagnosed with AML. This came as a huge shock to me and all of my coworkers. You can see the below post for information on Nick. His mom is also a coworker and friend. From the minute I found out about Nick's diagnosis, I felt a heaviness on my heart for both him and his mom. I kept in contact with her for updates, as did my fellow friends/coworkers. My team especially were very concerned for both of them, and tried to encourage and cheer them up as best we could. 2 weeks ago Carole, Nick's mom, sent an update with the devastating news that the chemo did not work and the doctor's basically said there was no hope, since they didn't see any chance of Nick finding a bone marrow donor match. Carole and I emailed back and forth a few times. I could sense her desperation to save her baby. He may have just turned 28 in the hospital, but he was still her baby. I immediately thought back to Allie. No mother should ever lose their baby. My mother's heart immediately ached.

I knew that I personally didn't know too many people that would fit the criteria of a possible match, but I wanted to get the word out as far and wide as I could. I sent a message out to my email address book and on facebook. It just wasn't enough. I thought for a minute and debated sending out an email to my work's alias to all. That's usually frowned upon and I figured would somehow be snuffed out quickly. It was a shot in the dark, but I sent out an urgent plea to the head of HR which is located in MA. Mind you, this was late on a Friday. There was a high likelyhood it wouldn't even be read. Still, I felt the nudge to send it out with a hope and a prayer. Within the next hour an email went out from Corporate globally (40K+ employees) with the plea to help Nick. From there, it snowballed. A movement began.

There has been global drives, hundreds if not thousands of new registrars, and thousands of people spreading the word about Nick. There has been local news stories, newspaper stories, msnbc, yahoo news, tweets, facebook postings, etc. Various competing companies have sent out emails, hosted drives, sent well wishes. Complete strangers have offered to donate over $10,000 to find a match. Thousands upon thousands have lifted Nick up in prayer.

5 years ago a little angel left a mark on my heart. 2 1/2 months ago I felt a calling to be lifting up a friend and his family in my prayers. 2 weeks ago I felt the nudge to do something. Today thousands of lives may be saved by all of the new donors that have entered the registry.

2 weeks ago I would never have imagined all that has occurred the last two weeks. With every ounce of me I believe that every step of this has been God moving. In no way do I believe that God causes people to be sick. I absolutely believe that God wants everyone to have a long, healthy, happy life. We however, are human. Our bodies fail us at times. I do believe that God can use a horrible situation and make some good come out of it. Nick and his family now have hope. A hope for a match. A hope for that long happy life that I believe God wants him to have.

Maybe I'm an optimist at heart. Maybe you think it's a stretch to think that all of this is woven together. I may be just that. One thing I will say proudly, I am a believer. A believer of things not seen. That's what faith is, is it not? God is good. There are signs everywhere. Sometimes we focus on all of the injustice in the world. I myself have let my sight be clouded at times and my heart be heavy. God is still good. There are signs everywhere, all you have to do is open your eyes.

Bone Transplant Desperately needed for Nick Glasgow, Donors wanted!!

A friend and coworker of mine, Nick Glasgow, is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant. Nick was a healthy 27 year old who came down with a sore throat. For 2 weeks the doctors thought he might have strep throat. After a bloodtest, they gave Nick the devastating news that he had Leukemia, AML. Nick underwent 2 rounds of agressive chemotherapy that did not work. His doctor's informed him that he needs a bone marrow transplant to save his life. Due to his ethnicity, doctor's have given him slim chance to find one. The reason? Low registration of donors of mixed ethnicities. If you are of Caucasian and Asian decent, PLEASE go to AADP.org to search for a local drive or order a free testing kit to be mailed to you. All that is required is a simple cheek swab. Please help! You can save Nick's life, or someone just like him. Time is of the essence, please, ACT NOW!

For updates on Nick please go to here.

Shred is the word!

I've been trying to get off the extra Mommy jiggle I've been rocking and got back to hitting the gym and eating healthier. Then I came across something magical. Something magical and frightening. One of the bloggers I follow started a new exercise program, and was seeing great results. Since she has 4 kids, 2 of which are one year old twins, this got me very curious. I went and picked up my copy of the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels and about died that first night. Okay, not really died, but I was completely surprised at how a 22 minute workout could really kick my butt. Phew, day 1 done and I ended up a sweaty mess. By day 3 I was extremely sore. Must be working. Day 4, thankfully I was much better and starting to notice a change. Hmm, was I really losing some of my oh-so-not-attractive muffin top? Were my eyes deceiving me? Morning 8 I measured my muffin top and was shocked to see it was 2 inches smaller than it was on day 1!!! Wow! It was working! I've Shredded 15 days so far, and have seen results I never expected to see so quickly. I don't even remember when I was in this good of shape tone-wise. I'm taking the night off to ice my knee, as it's been bothering me. Level 2 is a bit tougher on the knees. I think I might switch back and forth between Level 1 and 2 to give it a bit of a break. My recommendation of the day, if you don't have much free time to dedicate to getting healthier/in better shape, give this a try! I guarantee, you won't be sorry!

Cousins, chaos, fun!

I'm blessed to have 2 siblings that I adore and adore their families just as much. We all have children that are stepping stones, so when you get the whole gang together it's quite the chaotic party! My sis and her kids were here for a week and the kids had a blast. Here's a few pictures of the whole gang. We miss them already!

Grope, grope. Spread, spread. Scrape, scrape. A tale of a trip to the Gyno.

Reflecting upon yesterdays annual trip to the Gyno, I've realized there are a lot of ironies that occur during such a visit. Here is a tale of my trip to the Gyno.

I wake up bright and early. It's Monday, yuck. Not only is it Monday, but the day will include a trip to my favorite doctor, my OBGYN. She actually is my favorite, by the way. She's awesome! However, I do NOT look forward to seeing her. Not without a baby in my belly anyway. Without a baby to add some "oohs" and "ahhs" to the visit, it's just all bad. There is no payoff. Except of course the reassurance that my girly bits are A-Okay.

I'm tempted to hit the snooze a few more times and then realize it's Monday, the dreaded appointment day. Groan. I get up and hit the shower. Like any decent woman embarking on such a journey, I groom meticulously and make sure I'm as fresh as a daisy and as pretty as a rose. As I dry off and get dressed I catch a glimpse of my feet. RATS! My polish is chipped on a few toes and missing completely from two. I can't be spread eagle in stirrups having funky looking feet! I'm exposed enough! The parts that are not covered by a hideous looking gown or draped in paper towel should at the very least look presentable. Ugh. Another 10 minutes to remove the faded polish and reapply a flawless coat.

Now to the outfit. I have a busy day ahead, but comfy just won't do. The last time I was in I had just had a baby and was still in that horrible in between stage of not in maternity clothes and not yet into my clothes. I was horribly sleep deprived and looked like hell. I had to make a comeback appearance. I wanted to go in to see all the friendly faces looking not just put together, but put together with style. Let's see...high waisted grey pencil skirt, white collared shirt, black pumps, some bangles, drop earrings and a red bag. Yep, that'll do just fine. On to the delicates. I cannot, will not, refuse to show up in a mismatched cotton number. No way, no how. Hmm, okay, this lacy little number is classy. Purrrfect. I carefully get dressed, and add the finishing touches of some Aqualina Shimmering Pink Sugar. A dab here, there, and oh yes, there. Let the games begin.

My busy day included a trip to the dentist with Belle, which I'll go into in another post. I then rushed to work. I worked through lunch since I got in late. 2:30 rolled around and it was time to go. A quick stop at the bathroom on my way out and I was on my way. I arrived right at 2:45 on the dot. Signed in, paid my copay, and started to fill out the obligatory paperwork.

Currently pregnant? NO! Exercise? Yes. (Phew, I can actually answer that one honestly this year) Trying to conceive? Hell No! (What are they thinking? Don't they know my little man is just 16 months? I'm not insane!) Drugs? No. Vitamins? Yes. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I take a glimpse around and there are two adorable but very uncomfortable looking pregnant women. Awww. I look down at my tummy. Focus Stacy, focus. Back to the questionnaire. Drip, drip, drip. I notice the two pregnant women shifting in their seats. I look over and notice the waterfall fountain. Then I remember. I remember being pregnant and cursing that damn fountain. As if a pregnant woman doesn't have to pee enough, they put a fountain in the waiting room to relax you! Even though it is not inducing a mad dash to the restroom, I curse the fountain on behalf of all of the pregnant women to grace this office. Back to the questionnaire. Check, check, finished. I return the paperwork and sit back down and wait to be called.

Ho-hum. The minutes drag out and I'm fixated on the preggo's tummy sitting across from me. I can see the baby squirming like a little alien trying to escape. Hmm...I wonder if I'll ever feel that again. My mind drifts. "STACY?" Oh, that's me! I jump up, grab my bag and start the walk of doom. It's not my favorite nurse that always is there. Pout. Where is she? Even when I was a tub she'd say I look great. Damn. "Room 6, go ahead and drop off your bag and meet me at the scale." Groan. I do as I'm told. I step up and calculate in my head "Pencil skirt, collared shirt, pumps, bangles...yeah, that's gotta add a few lbs...maybe 5," I delude myself. "Okay, good, you lost all the baby weight, good for you." Phew. I love this new nameless nurse. She's my new best friend. I knew I'd like her the minute I saw her! (Just go with it) Blood pressure is checked and perfect, yay me. Then she hands me the dreaded ugly gown and oversize blue paper towel. "Undress completely, put the gown on opening in the front, and drape this (I don't even think they have a name for the paper towel and don't want to say PAPER TOWEL) over your lap. Oh, and press the red button when you're ready."

Logistically trying to complete this task is quite a feat. Picture this, well, don't picture ME, picture YOU. Getting buck naked, putting on a gown that's completely open in the front. Try to hold that together, drape an extra large paper towel over your lap and shimmy to the wall to press a red button, then dash back to the exam table, hop your naked butt up and try to be somewhat decent before the door is flung open. The thought of it exhausts me.

I undress halfway and put the gown on, then the other half comes off. I neatly fold my clothes and drape them on the chair. Then, I tuck my delicates inside. God forbid my doctor ever see them! I mean, I did pick them out to match, and I will be spread eagle in a few minutes with my girly parts facing the heavens, but the thought of her catching a glimpse...*shudder* the horror! (Ironic much?) I unfold the paper towel and make a mad dash to hit the button like an Olympian sprinter and jump back onto the table. YES! I'm in position before the door opens! I am the WINNER!!!! Of what, you may ask? I don't know. But I feel victorious at this moment. It's the little things in life, really.

Knock, knock, knock. In comes my favorite doctor. "Stacy, hello! Man, has a year flown by already or what? I LOVE your hair! You're looking great!" *Swoon* I love her! A few questions and then she gets to work. "How's the little man doing?" "Great!" I say. "Does he still have a head full of hair?" "Yup!" She does an excellent job of keeping the conversation flowing as if she isn't groping around my nip. What a professional! Onto the next boob. "I bet he's a flirt!" "He sure is!" Grope, grope, circle, circle. "All done! Feels great!" Feels great? What a completely odd, yet appropriate, thing to say. Gee wiz, thanks doc.
She pulls out the stirrups and says "Saddle up partner". (Again, just go with the dialog, it'll make the story more enjoyable). I slide my butt down and saddle up. Groan. Here comes the torture device. I will skip over the next few moments of this tale, because really, nobody wants to hear that. Let's just say, there was some tension and some talk of weather. Imagine going to Disneyland and finding out all of the rides are broken, there will be no refund, a tropical storm is about to hit, oh, and your dog just died. It feels that good. I do notice my feet though and have the random thought that I hope they don't smell seeing as I wore pumps all day. Funny, I'm worrying about my feet smelling at this exact moment. "Looks good. We should get the results in a few days. Keep up the exercise, and make sure to take a calcium supplement if you aren't getting 1200 mg a day. Now, are you guys done or do you want anymore?" Hmm...."I think we're done, but we aren't 100% positive." "Okay, be sure to take your pill religiously and let me know if you guys decide to try for another before you stop taking it." "Will do doc." "Keep up the good work! You look great." "Thanks doc." I love her!

Out she goes and it is at this moment I feel obliged to take a few pics of my ridiculous clothes (above) and my flawless polished feet in stirrups. I did notice that from this angle I appear to have enormous cankles. I don't. I guarantee you I do not have cankles. I just want to make that clear. If proof is needed, I will take an additional picture to submit. I have ankles and calves, completely separate of one another. No one in my family has cankles. I assure you.
I digress, back to my tale. I dressed promptly and made my way down the hall towards the exit. I notice 2 preggos in line for the bathroom. Poor souls, they must have fallen under the fountains spell. I again look at their adorable, huge bellies. Sigh. Maybe, maybe not. Until next year dear friends, I say, adieu.

As a bonus, here is my PSA of the day: Even if you do have cankles, you have to go sockless in the stirrups. Being in that compromising position and wearing socks is just as bad as doing the deed and keeping socks on. Nobody wants to see that. **UNLESS you have some funky feet, then by all means keep those puppies covered up!

My beautiful Belle

I can't believe you are turning 5. My, how the time has flown by. You came into this world screaming. We knew right then you'd make your voice heard, and boy have you! You are our little chatterbox who always has a story to tell!

We could also tell right away that you'd be our cuddlebug. You still love to cuddle! You are such a little sweetheart and so loving.

You have filled our lives with smiles and endless laughter.
You aren't afraid to be yourself. You are crazy silly, and have a wicked sense of style. You're a stunner baby! The years have flown by, candles have been added. You still love to poke your finger into the frosting and flash a cheesy dimply grin.

You truly do your name justice. You are not only beautiful on the outside, but you have the purest, most beautiful heart. I love you with all of mine. Happy 5th Birthday my sweet Isabelle. xoxo, Mommy

Christmas 2008

We had a great Christmas with only one hitch this year. Our sweet little man woke up on Christmas Eve not feeling so well. I took him to the doctor and he was diagnosed with croup. Even sick, he had the doctor and nurses fawning all over him. What a Lady Killer.

The doctor said he'd be fine to continue our plans to celebrate with the family, so we did.
Santa paid us a visit....

Santa brought us a new tv and Wii. Thanks Santa! Belle is amazing at the Wii. I need to have Omar video her so I can post it. She talks smack to the tv. It's hilarious!

She loved her art center we bought her. She's our little artist who is constantly drawing, so she was thrilled. Poor Papi was not feeling well and wasn't really into opening his gifts.

We went to the IL's, and he ended up not feeling too well at all.

The next day he stayed at home with Daddy and MIL. Before bed I found that he had broken out in hives! Poor baby. Off to the doctor we went twice more that weekend. He had an ear infection as well as some sort of allergic reaction.

He's feeling much better now and enjoying his gifts, so I'll have to get some pictures of him.
I think that about sums it up! I hope everyone had a nice Christmas.

Christmas time fun

Our holidays kicked off with a work Christmas party for Omar at the San Ramon Country Club. We had a wonderful time! It was so nice to get out and have some adult time without A) wiping a nose B) having to order chicken fingers C) picking up cheerios off the ground or D) having the conversation revolve around Playhouse Disney! :) We shipped the kids off to Grammy & Grandpa's and had our first real night sans munchkins since Belle was born! LONG OVERDUE! Here's a few pics from the evening. Yes, that is a tuxedo t-shirt. And a long sleeved one at that. Classy.

Next up, the tree. Belle was an excellent tree decorator. Can you guess which ornaments she hung and what her favorite color is??

Finally, we thought it'd be fun to make a gingerbread house, just the three of us once Elias went to bed. Note to self: Next year purchase an already assembled gingerbread house. The first 30 minutes or so of decorating was a blast! However, around hour 2 of the frosting not holding the walls together and the roof caving in, I was in dire need of my little helper to go to bed, a strong drink, and some superglue to make this baby stick! 3 hours in it finally stuck. Not too pretty, but the roof is at least on and we have 4 walls. SUCCESS!

Baby it's cold outside!

It was colder than a witches tit in a brass bra this morning (as my oh so proper husband would say). Okay, okay, I know my sister is laughing at the thought that it was cold here! Hey sis, just remember that when you lived here you weren't use to "cold" either! Let me rephrase, it was freezing for the first real cold morning in California! Time to break out the winter hat for Elias. He was cracking up this morning when I put it on him when we got to Grammy's. I thought it was hysterical and had to catch a picture or two.

You put one foot infront of the other

I was blessed enough that Elias decided to take his first steps while I was off of work this last week. His biggest accomplishment so far has been 5 steps in a row! We've managed to get him walking on video, but I still need to capture the magic on camera. I'll post a picture when I do. I can't believe he's learning to walk! Yikes!

10 Unforgetable Moments In My Life

In no particular order...

1. Waking up to hearing my sister screaming in the living room. I was 3 years old and we shared a room. Our door was shut; it was never shut. I went out to find my cousins asleep on our couch and my sister yelling at a family friend that we were forgotten. Our parents forgot us. They went to the hospital to have my baby brother and left us at home by mistake. We were suppose to go to! That was the morning my baby bro was born and one of my first memories.

2. Watching my son be born. It was disgusting and beautiful and surreal all at the same time.

3. My daughter and my eyes meeting for the first time. I never fully realized the amount of love I could feel until that moment.

4. Meeting a handsome stranger at a welcoming fair when I was a freshman in college. Little did I know that moment would change my life.

5. Saying goodbye to my Gramps. He was a pillar of strength and peace even when he was dying. I felt such love and comfort as I lay on his chest and said goodbye. He was, and still is, an inspiration.

6. Seeing 2 pink lines and the word "pregnant" on a pee stick.

7. Getting sewn up after giving birth to Belle. I WISH that was forgetable.

8. Sept. 7th, 2002.

9. Joshua Tree bar in NYC, drinking them out of Malibu and talking in an Irish accent all night. Definitely unforgetable.

10. My Gram outdoing the peacocks every 4th of July and embarrassing the hell out of my mom and Auntie.

I have a bagina...

Original post written December 15, 2007

Having an almost 4 year old is quite the adventure. You never know what they are going to ask or say. I'm in the camp of if they ask you something regarding their body, tell them the truth and use the appropriate term because you never know who they will repeat it to! When Elias was about 2 weeks old Belle discovered that boys look a heck of a lot different than girls do! She asked with a disgusted look on her face "WHAT IS THAT??!" I told her it's a penis. Boys have a penis, and girls don't. She asked me if boys have boobies. I told her "No, they just have a chest." She was satisfied and ran off to play. This morning we had the following conversation:
"Mommy, boys have a PEANUTS (penis) right?"
"Yes, boys have a PENIS."
"And girls don't Mommy, right?"
"Right"
"Girls have boobies and boys have a chest, right?"
"Right"
"Mommy, then what's this called? What's my privates name??" (Pointing you know where!)
"It's a vagina. Girls have a vagina and boys have a penis."
"Ohhhh...okay Mommy."
We then went downstairs for breakfast and she ran to Omar.
"Papa, I have a BAGINA and BOOBIES and boys don't. They have a PEANUTS and a CHEST!"
Omar looked like he was going to faint!!!
She just asked me if I have a BAGINA too. God help us. Please excuse my daughter if she asks you if you have a BAGINA or a PEANUTS.

A Positive Outlook

Original post written July 21, 2007

I realize I was in a funk and miserable when I posted my last blog. In hopes to not stop the future existance of mankind I thought I'd post 10 fantastic things about being pregnant/a mom.
1. Hearing your baby's heartbeat for the first time. Nothing could bring such a sense of relief, joy, and instant tears as this.
2. Seeing your baby on an ultrasound and realizing, wow, there really is an actual life inside of me.
3. First movement. Very surreal. Yes, you knew there was a life growing inside of you, but feeling it makes it 1000 times more real.
4. Preparing for your baby. Picking out a name, the room, clothes, hopes and dreams about your little one. Planning out a life in your head for your baby. All of these things bring a huge amount of excitement.
5. Going into labor. You'd think labor is actually one of the downfalls to pregnancy, but it is actually the most exciting as painful and scary as it is. You are just a short time away (hopefully) from meeting your baby.
6. The first cry. Instant tears. Instant joy. More love than you've ever realized you could have.
7. Looking into your baby's eyes for the first time. An overwhelming feeling of love and responsibility. This little precious gift is depending on you to take care of him or her. You are the most important person to this little one. You are his or her world. No one will ever love you as much as he or she does or as unconditionally as they do.
8. Smiles. Nothing will brighten your day as a smile from your child.
9. I love you's. Your baby/child can make the largest mess, be the biggest pain in the ass, and frustrate the living hell out of you and still when they offer up an "I love you sooooooo much Mommy!" and throw their arms around your neck, somehow that frustration melts away and nothing sounds so sweet.
10. Realizing that this baby is the coolest person you know. Not only that, but he or she is half of you, and you get the honor of being his or her parent!

Sex, poo, cramps and all the other TMI things of being as large as a house...

Post written on July 18, 2007...I was definitely in my third trimester!

What is it about giving birth that seriously makes a woman lose her mind? Something washes over our brain (literally) so that we only remember the wonderful cute things about being pregnant. Our biological clock starts ticking and we crave a sweet little baby to hold. We long for an adorable little baby belly and feeling those precious little kicks. Only thing is, we forget that the little baby belly actually turns quickly into the gut of a 350 lb man and those precious little kicks end up feeling like Bruce Lee somehow got shrunk into that gut and is kicking his way out. Eli is kicking so hard that I swear my son is going to come out cussing like a sailor from hearing his Mommy! Not my finest moments. Forget about tying your own shoes or picking anything up. Thank God that it's summer and I can live in live in flip flops. Somehow I forgot that my bladder would shrink to the size of a walnut and I'd be up peeing 5 times a night. Sleep? What's that?? Oh, that's what I try to get when I'm not up peeing, and somehow trying to find a comfortable position on the 5 pillows I'm hogging. Yes, my bed has been invaded by the fat woman and her pillows and my husband is clinging on to the corner of the bed praying to not fall off in his sleep. On to more TMI things, poo. Yes, your bladder has shrunken and you can't stop peeing. Some women even non-voluntarily pee. Fingers crossed I don't get that. You'd think pooping would fall in the same category, right? Wrong. You don't only not poop every 5 minutes, you're lucky if you can poop every 5 days. Okay, that's an exageration, but it's a difficult task is all I'm saying. As if these weren't unpleasant enough add to that ligament pains and sciatic nerve pains. Yes, you will see this preggo not only waddle but occassionally limp around. I guess a pregnant woman who has absolutely no sense of balance anymore wasn't entertaining enough. God had to add this little wonderful gift as well. Let's see, what else? Food. Oh food. How I love and hate thee! I can eat a huge meal and an hour later am starving like a refugee. I can't eat enough. The irony there is that I get heartburn from hell and can't enjoy my food. Another irony, the biggest of them all, sex. Yeah, I won't go into that, but lets just say I think all the testosterone I'm carrying has caused me to be even more like a teenage boy than I was when I was pregnant with Belle. Ever tried screwing a 350 lb gut that has to pee every 5 minute and has Bruce Lee trying to bust out of that gut at the same time? All of this while trying to not think about the killer heartburn or that ice cream screaming my name in the freezer. Let's just say picture an elephant and a lion. Quite comical. I no longer require a sitcom for a laugh! My own clumsy fat ass will do. I know it's all worth it in the long run, and I can't wait to see my little man. Speaking of which, he better be little and not turn out to be a shrunken Bruce Lee like I suspect. October??!! Where are you??? I know, I should teach Sex Ed for teenagers. They all be jumping to get pregnant soon!

Transferring a few old blog posts for posterity.

I thought I'd transfer a few of my old blog posts for posterity over from myspace since they'll be deleted. They're old, but I found them humorous and don't want to forget the kids antics!
